Spreading the Message of Faith Through the Power of Rap
Welcome to Mi Gente crew, where faith meets rhythm and soul. We are a local group based in the scenic landscapes of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our ensemble merges the power of gospel music with the heart-pounding beats of rap to inspire hope and love and create spiritual unity. We're not here for fame or fortune; we're here to uplift spirits and change lives, one verse at a time. We are a dedicated collective consisting of Antoine "Twiz" Lambert, his wife, Arlene Lambert, known as “Arlizzy,” and her older brother John Montaño VI, aka “JBiz.” With over 12 years of experience, we combine rap and ministry to reach a broad audience. Rooted in a legacy of faith imparted by retired Pastor John Montano, father to Arlene and John, further deepening our commitment to faith-based outreach.
"We feel called to minister through music, focusing on gospel rap as a transformative tool for community outreach. Engaging with our community and inspiring the youth and people in this genre are important to our mission.
